About This Game

Highway Racer strips racing down to the tension of a single decision: which gap do you take? Four lanes of faster-and-faster traffic scroll beneath you, and the only control is left and right.

What makes it different from lane-dodge games is the near-miss bonus. Slide past a car closely and the game rewards you with extra points and a brief slow-motion pulse - skilled players deliberately thread the needle instead of playing it safe.

How to Play

1. Steer with ← → or A/D; on touch, tap the side you want to move to.
2. Overtake as many cars as you can - each overtake adds points.
3. A near miss (passing within a whisker) scores triple.
4. One collision ends the run. Speed increases every 500 meters.

Tips & Strategy

• Commit to a gap before you get there - last-instant swerves rarely fit.
• Near misses are worth the risk early; play conservative once past 2,000 m.
• The far-left lane has the fastest traffic but the fewest cars - high risk, high pace.
• Keep your eyes on the horizon line, not the car beside you.
